People who appreciate those older, sometimes silly and illogical stories might find something to enjoy here. However, if you’re hoping for impressive martial arts action, you'll likely be let down. The fight sequences offer little beyond a superficial nod to his signature moves—more of that seventies style. A better option would be 'Into the Badlands,' which noticeably improved in quality and scope after its initial season, becoming more visually striking and ambitious. It’s strange that while offensive language like the n-word is being removed from entertainment and public discourse, the c-word continues to appear repeatedly—a word that carries just as much negativity and potential for harm. It seems irresponsible to keep exposing audiences to this kind of language, essentially suggesting it's acceptable to be rude and hurtful.
