Synopsis

The discovery of a young woman’s body in Ystad sets a grim tone for the unfolding investigation. Initial reports indicate she was originally from Moldova and had been working as a sex worker in Sweden. Leading the case, Kurt resolves to travel to Moldova and locate the woman's family. His return to Sweden is marred by a car accident, forcing him to take a leave of absence. Concurrently, he begins to understand the source of his own troubling forgetfulness.
