Synopsis

A sniper stalks Ystad, his targets individuals implicated in a recent jewel heist. Inspector Wallander quickly discerns connections to a larger criminal network. A botched attempt to eliminate two individuals linked by their involvement in the crime thrusts Wallander's colleague, Pontus, into a desperate struggle for survival. Wallander is now compelled to lead an investigation where the list of those targeted by the shooter has expanded to include the name of Pontus Young.
