Synopsis

Though his mind frayed at the edges and he was no longer formally employed, Wallander summoned every reserve of strength to locate Linda’s father-in-law. A retired high-ranking officer from the Swedish navy, the man was consumed by a submarine enigma that had haunted him for years. As reality slipped further from his grasp, Wallander clung to this final case with a desperate intensity.
