It’s hard to understand what’s been going on at the BBC recently; this documentary feels ridiculous and seems designed for very young children. It relies on the predictable portrayal of a Tyrannosaurus Rex as the primary antagonist, which has become repetitive and disappointing. I'm surprised they would release something like this as a completed project—I really preferred the earlier version from my childhood, it was much better made. While I appreciate the narrator’s contributions to other projects, the script he was given here is truly poor; the dialogue feels stale, uninspired, and low-budget. A rating of 2 out of 10—I definitely wouldn't suggest watching this.
