Synopsis

The world has entered an age of ice, a deep freeze gripping all living things. It is during this time that vast herds of Woolly Mammoths roam the plains that will one day be submerged beneath the North Sea. With the approach of winter, these herds migrate south in search of more fertile grazing lands. The journey is arduous, particularly for the young. Danger lurks at every turn, but the most formidable threat comes from two species of humans who share the mammoths' icy world.
