Synopsis

To unravel a particularly perplexing cold case, investigators found themselves compelled to seek assistance from Thomas Rice, a notorious serial killer known as "the Gambler"—a moniker earned through his macabre habit of leaving playing cards at his crime scenes. Dr. Clare Delaney, the only woman who had managed to escape his clutches, was jolted back into the grip of her past trauma when, on a dark and windy night as she drove out for a house call, a playing card struck her car windscreen.
