Synopsis

At the record producers’ banquet honoring Maury Gold, Richie felt a flush of embarrassment when the emcee, Jackie Jervis, a rival executive, delivered a pointed jest about the collapsed German Polygram deal. Later, Maury Gold and his associate, Corrado Galasso, paid a visit to American Century, seeking information about a detective's recent inquiries. As they were there, Joe Corso stopped by to offer Richie a demo tape by Nora, who had been his date for the evening.
