Synopsis

Returning from their voyage, Ragnar and his men carried with them a bounty of treasure. Earl Haraldson, faced with such a prize, could not refuse the call to arms; another raid was sanctioned. The western lands lay vulnerable, ripe for conquest, and the Vikings had irrevocably altered the course of their world.
