Synopsis

Upon her return from England, a shadow fell upon the Queen. A sudden illness seized her, and whispers of poisoning began to circulate. Fear gripped the court, and suspicion clouded every heart. King Louis XIV, consumed by worry and apprehension, ordered a complete lockdown of Versailles, severing all access to the royal residence.
