Synopsis

Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope arrives on the scene of a grim discovery: a trainee forensic psychologist lies dead on a sprawling landfill in Northumberland. She begins to piece together the circumstances surrounding the death, navigating the harsh landscape and the complex lives of those connected to the victim.
