Synopsis

Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope and Detective Sergeant Joe Ashworth examine a death within an army barracks, a scene meticulously staged to appear as a suicide. However, Vera swiftly discerns that Staff Sergeant ‘Dev’ Deverson was murdered. A connection to a soldier lost in Afghanistan, a man named Ollie, stirs Vera's suspicion.
