Synopsis

Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope confronts a perplexing case when Jim Tullman, a respected figure in the local building trade and devoted family man, is discovered fatally injured at the foot of the Collingwood Monument. The discovery comes the day before Tullman was scheduled to give crucial testimony in a violent assault trial.
