Veil of Shadows — Season 1

The horrific events of the Luo’an heart-ripper killings shattered the joy surrounding Wei Qing and Yu Shengwei's wedding. Now, Wu Shiguang’s team is plunged headfirst into investigating the disturbing case.

A fox spirit fell upon Yu Shengwei. Meanwhile, Wu Shiguang and Wu Wangyan began to discern a shared thread linking the victims, each discovered with their hearts violently removed.

Seeking to ensnare Xiaowei, Ji Ling and Li Jie found themselves caught in a counter-trap laid by Yu Wei. During the ensuing clash, both Wu Wangyan and Yu Wei abruptly disappeared, vanishing as if swallowed by the very air around them.

With Wei Qing’s passing, the others pursued Xiaowei, uncovering a startling truth: she was in fact Liu Weixue. Simultaneously, it emerged that Yu Shengwei was the rebirth of Wang Sheng.

Driven by ambition for riches and renown, Luo Wei struck down Yu Shengwei. Then, Yuan Wuhuo commanded Xiaowei to recover the might of the Dragon God.

In an attempt to restore Yu Shengwei, Liu Weixue inadvertently wounded Ji Ling. The Dragon God then intervened, resolving the immediate danger, after which Liu Weixue vanished.

A trial between Lu Wuyi and Ji Ling ended poorly, their parting marked by considerable animosity. Subsequently, Ji Ling and Li Jie received orders: they were tasked with recovering Wu Shiguang's Dragon God power.

Wu Wangyan undertook the assignment independently, later joining forces with Wu Shiguang. Subsequently, Lu Wuyi observed Ji Ling revert to his form as a wooden figure.

Confined within prison walls, Lu Wuyi found himself accompanied on a journey to the desolate Shan Gu by Wu Wangyan and Wu Shiguang. Simultaneously, the Dragon God dispatched Lu Wuyi to that same forsaken place.

Within the desolate expanse of Shan Gu, the travelers encountered Wu Zhiqi. Then, Wu Shiguang wove a deceptive illusion around them—an enchantment from which they had to break free, lest calamity descend.

Man Man and Di Zhu are convinced the murderer’s pursuit centers on the Starstone. Cang Hao strives to uncover the facts surrounding a clan’s ruin. Qing Yi is plagued by persistent, unsettling dreams.

Di Zhu struck at his father. Under cover of darkness, the Yuan brothers conspired to steal the Starstone. Qing Yi was haunted by nightmares, vivid and steeped in blood.

Within the deceptive realm, they discovered the Starstone. A youthful Wu Zhiqi, handling its power carelessly, underwent a rebirth and swore then to redeem his people.

Beyond the deceptive veil, You Chi and his companions struggled to force an opening. Within, those connected to the Starstone found themselves transported to the brink of disaster.

Having captured the fearsome Jiu Ying, a dragon with nine heads, Man Man and Di Zhu unwittingly unleashed a terrible consequence: the annihilation of the Jiao clan. In the ensuing devastation, both human and demonic lives were lost.

Those caught within the deceptive spell break free from its grasp. Wu Shiguang’s authentic nature comes to light, and the malevolent entity reverts to being the Starstone once more.

Wu Wangyan parted ways with Wu Shiguang. With a heavy heart, she began preparations to cut away the spiritual tether that bound her to Wu Xiangmoon, intending to finally sever their connection. But Wu Shiguang arrived then, intervening just…

Wu Shiguang rescued Wu Wangyan from peril. Discovering his inability to shapeshift into a dragon, the Jiu Ying sought out the secrets of slaying one, employing the flames of Yuan Wu to reveal the path.

News reached the group that Li Jie had cleverly outmaneuvered Yuan Wuhuo. Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi confessed the depth of their affections for one another, yet the final shard of the Jiu Ying remained inextricably bound to Lu Wuyi.

The group of six reached Luo An, a region parched by relentless drought. Soon after their arrival, a shadowy figure absconded with a vital manuscript, while Yan Bi began to speak of the Dragon God’s formidable influence.

Wu Shiguang guided the company onward, drawing them into the realm of vibrant artistry. There, a figure draped in black appeared, intent on claiming something from Mu Long.

Ji Ling lent his aid to Lu Wuyi’s undertaking. With the drought deepening, Wu Shiguang labored tirelessly to preserve the city.

The city of Luo An plunged into turmoil. Ji Ling unleashed the latent power within the ancient ring, even as Lu Wuyi drew upon Ji Can’s formidable magic, journeying back through time to safeguard the one she cherished.

Consumed by devotion, Lu Wuyi channels the might of the Dragon Deity, striving to heal Ji Ling. Then, Ji Can transports them through the currents of time, and they find themselves reborn into unfamiliar shapes.

Having inherited the might of the Dragon Deity, Ji Ling finds himself consumed by a profound solitude. Across the currents of time, Lu Wuyi extends a hand towards him, even as a veiled danger descends upon the Shilin Sect.

With rising conflict, Ji Ling struggles to protect Lu Wuyi. Simultaneously, Wu Shiguang unleashes a fearsome dragon form to challenge the enduring influence of Jiu Ying.

Following the clash, Lu Wuyi became utterly possessed by vengeance. A shadowy influence seized her thoughts, compelling her to unleash a sorcery that jeopardized the very existence of the Formless Moon.

With a daring maneuver, Lu Wuyi moved to wrest back command. Just then, a temporal rift brought Ji Ling back into the company of his own people, even as shadowy powers unexpectedly gained the gift of immortality.

Conflict erupts as allied forces clash with their adversaries on fields and in the heavens, striving to reestablish stability and herald a fresh age for humankind.
