It’s hard to understand why this series didn’t continue for more than one season; it seems like those in charge might not recognize quality television when they encounter it. The pairing of the two lead characters is flawless, presenting a compelling conflict between cowboys and gangsters set against the backdrop of early Las Vegas. It manages to balance action and dramatic elements skillfully, featuring characters that are easy to invest in, even those who aren’t necessarily likeable. The visual presentation is stunning, with vibrant sets and costumes that accurately reflect the period. Throughout watching, you find yourself wondering about the authenticity of events portrayed. I should also add that I am a big fan of this show.
