Synopsis

With Rawdon’s departure for England arranged by Steyne, Becky finds herself adrift, existing in circumstances far removed from her former life. Dobbin learns of Amelia's intention to remarry, a disclosure that emboldens him to finally declare his affections, though he is unprepared for the response. The Sedley family, on holiday in Germany, unexpectedly encounters Becky, who is given a fleeting opportunity to perform a single act of kindness. This concludes the series.
