This is a really good vampire series, and I’m having a great time watching it. Initially, seeing Ian Somerhalder on the promotional materials made me worry that it would feel like "Vampire Diaries," which I found to be an awful teen drama. But “V Wars” isn't anything like that at all. Rather than centering around vampire romance, the show takes a more scientific perspective and feels much more mature compared to those other shows aimed at teenagers. Even though I disliked Ian Somerhalder’s performance in "Vampire Diaries," I really like him in this series. If you were a fan of “30 Days of Night,” then you'll probably enjoy this show too. As far as I can tell, it’s the best vampire program available right now.
