Synopsis

The war had left Haku profoundly melancholic. Though the women of the village showered him with tokens of affection, each intended to lift his spirits, their kindness brought no solace. Finally, the men resolved on a grand banquet, a night of shared drink and camaraderie. The celebration grew boisterous, and soon a loosening of inhibitions led to a shedding of garments.
