Synopsis

Haruko, Daikichi’s cousin, seeks refuge at his home, bringing her daughter Reina with her. Daikichi struggles to comprehend the resolve driving Haruko, but when he finally understands her reasons, he is struck by the strength of the woman she has become as a mother. The experience prompts him to reconsider the very essence of marriage and family.
