Synopsis

The ongoing quest of an adoptee to understand her origins, and the story of the family who welcomed her as a newborn, finds resonance alongside two other narratives: the 1932 discovery in Wyoming of a small, preserved human body; and the inquiries currently underway by the U.S. Attorney General's Office into a series of deaths within Mississippi jails.
