Synopsis

The Sacramento region endured a period of terror in the late 1970s, plagued by a serial rapist. Over three years, forty-four rapes baffled law enforcement, leaving the case an enduring mystery. It wasn't until 1996, when a forensic scientist in a neighboring county made a startling connection, that this series of rapes was linked to one of California's most extensive serial killing sprees.
