Synopsis

Across Central America, thousands journey northward toward the U.S. border, driven by dreams of a better life. However, this perilous passage is largely controlled by Mexican cartels, who have established a highly profitable trade in undocumented migrants. These people smugglers, frequently operating under the influence of powerful cartels, exert tight control over the crossing, demanding payment for their services and effectively holding those seeking entry hostage.
