Synopsis

Flim and Polly concurred that young Shoeshine, with his gentle nature, would surely understand the riddle: “A Rhyme in Time Saves Nine.” Shoeshine immediately recognized that "rhyme" must refer to Underdog, given his habit of speaking in verse; "time," he reasoned, pointed to a clock. Polly suggested Big Ben, but dismissed it as being located in London. Shoeshine then considered what the largest “Ben” might be within the city itself, prompting Polly’s quick reply: "Ben's Jewelry Store." As for "
