Synopsis

In the final scene, Shoeshine requested a drink of water once he was secured in his cell. Upon receiving it from the guard, he flung its contents into the man’s eyes. While the guard struggled to recover his sight, the prisoners made their escape, trapping him inside the very cell they'd just vacated.
