Synopsis

The Melbourne gangland wars ignited the night Alphonse Gangitano—known as "The Black Prince of Lygon Street" and a figure within the notorious Carlton Crew—killed a petty criminal named Greg Workman at a St Kilda gathering, seemingly for no reason other than malice. The charismatic Alphonse evaded justice by persuading two witnesses to remain silent, but the act itself established the brutal pattern of violence that would unfold, and ultimately propelled him toward his own demise.
