Synopsis

The sterile hum of the airport was abruptly silenced. Time itself seemed to hold its breath, suspended around Lieutenant Straker and Lieutenant Lake. Dust motes hung motionless in the air, illuminated by the harsh fluorescent lights. On a nearby viewscreen, Lieutenant Ellis was caught mid-sentence, his face frozen in a startled expression. A lone figure, seemingly oblivious to the temporal anomaly, stood before them, a cruel smile playing on his lips – a man clearly serving some unseen masters.
