Synopsis

The old house stood on a hill overlooking the town. It had been empty for years, and people said it was haunted. No one dared to go near it, but I was curious. I decided to explore. The front door creaked open with a groan. Dust motes danced in the shafts of sunlight that pierced the gloom. The air was thick with the smell of decay and forgotten things. Cobwebs draped over furniture shrouded in white sheets. As I moved deeper inside, floorboards groaned beneath my feet, and shadows seemed to
