"Twelve" blends swordplay, sorcery, and supernatural elements within a South Korean setting. Beings with extraordinary abilities derived from animals are responsible for protecting people against malevolent forces. Although the premise isn’t groundbreaking, the writing is solid, presenting a combination of action sequences, suspenseful plot developments, and character-driven stories that keep you interested, even if it doesn't entirely captivate. There are some drawbacks; the fight scenes vary in quality, with moments of impressive choreography alongside others that feel underwhelming. The visual effects aren’t particularly remarkable either.
