Synopsis

The atmosphere in Bon Temps intensifies as Maryann prepares for a ritualistic sacrifice, compelling Sookie to serve as Maid of Honor at the gruesome ceremony. Simultaneously, Sophie-Anne cautions Eric to restrain Bill's probing curiosity; Jason draws Andy into a perilous undertaking; and Hoyt endures Maxine’s relentless barrage of insults. Considering what might be his last chance to protect Sookie and the town, Sam places his faith—and his life—in an unexpected confidante.
