The series tells of Chode McBlob, a space captain with purple skin, and his team as they travel through the galaxy. The group includes Six, who serves as the science officer and is also Chode’s sex robot; T'Nuk, the pilot and cook; Gus, the butler and engineer; Whip, the foreman; and Bob, the ship's artificial intelligence. They are a crew available for various jobs—ranging from smuggling to mercenary work or even simple delivery services—though they often pause their paid assignments to pursue opportunities promising quick riches. The show’s humor is largely centered on sexual situations. Besides jokes of that nature, there are numerous nods to other science-fiction programs like Star Wars, Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Battlestar Galactica, as well as references to a variety of books, films, and television shows from different genres. The comedy also includes physical humor, puns, wordplay, jokes about relationships, dysfunctional family dynamics, and insults.
