Synopsis

He found himself face-to-face with Nicholas, a man of unsettling quietude and a heavy cross slung over his shoulder. A sense of unease clung to him, a prickle of suspicion that deepened with every glance. Before any semblance of familiarity could bloom between them, however, a monstrous worm erupted from the earth. It engulfed them both, along with the very structure they stood within, leaving nothing but darkness in its wake.
