Synopsis

Andrew encountered Adam, a fellow Angel of Death, during his day off in Richmond, Virginia. He was visiting the Mason family, a lineage he had observed across many generations. The Masons held a particular regard for Andrew, to the extent that they had reserved a chair in his honor. They and Adam stopped for a non-alcoholic drink at The Sign of the Dove, the Mason family tavern, overseen by Ben Mason, a pleasant young man set to be married that evening.
