The eighteenth season of Top Gear roared onto BBC Two and BBC HD on January 29th, 2012, following a festive Christmas special the previous December. As always, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, and The Stig were at the helm, ready to deliver their signature blend of automotive adventures. While fans eagerly anticipated seeing what they’d come up with, one planned segment—featuring James May taking a jet plane for a spin around the test track—never made it to air. Though mysteriously absent from television, this ambitious stunt did appear on the *Challenges 6* DVD and was intended as part of a Saab-focused feature within the series.
