Synopsis

In Season 8, *Top Chef*, the 2010 Primetime Emmy Award winner, brings together eighteen of its most memorable former contestants. These culinary talents, each a near-champion from a previous season, return to the competition to prove they still possess the skill to claim victory. Hosted by Padma Lakshmi and judged by chef Tom Colicchio, the season also features Gail Simmons and, debuting this year, the acclaimed author and chef Anthony Bourdain. The action unfolds once again in New York City.
