Synopsis

The toad, with a sigh that rustled the reeds, watched the weasels disappear with his old chair. A familiar pang of regret tightened his throat; he’d been so eager to clear some space. Now, the chair was gone, claimed by the mischievous creatures. He knew he had to do something. “Weasels!” he called, his voice surprisingly firm. “Please, we need that back.” The weasels paused, their eyes gleaming with amusement. "Why should we?" one chirped. "It's a perfectly good chair!" "Yes," another
