Synopsis

Portly's birthday arrived, and with it, an outpouring of generosity. Mole, with characteristic kindness, gifted everyone a jar of jam to present to Portly as a token of celebration. Soon, the shelves in Portly’s pantry were overflowing. He had amassed a considerable supply, far more than he could possibly need for the winter months.
