Now that the Mutants and Lunataks had vanished, the Ancient Spirits of Evil decreed that Mumm-Ra must destroy all the Thundercats before sunset, a threat underscored by their banishment of Ma-Mutt. Mumm-Ra unleashed devastation across Third Earth, casting Tygra, Cheetara, and Panthro into limbo and entombing Lion-O alive.
