Synopsis

Mumm-Ra engaged Captain Shiner to transmit a deceptive distress call, intending to lure the ThunderCats away. Prompted by this false signal, and utilizing their newly constructed vessel, the Feliner, the ThunderCats ventured deep into space to render aid to the seemingly imperiled ship. Upon arrival, however, they were ambushed; Shiner swiftly captured Lion-O and the Sword of Omens. He delivered the Sword to Mumm-Ra, who then cast it into a black hole.
