Synopsis

The anniversary celebrations for the Gamaches at the prestigious Manoir Belleforet were abruptly interrupted by the discovery of a body. Inspector Gamache assembled his team, and together they began to unravel the case, which centered on the hotel's owners – the Morrow family, consumed by resentment and envy. Simultaneously, Lacoste received an unexpected phone call that dramatically altered the course of the Blue Two-Rivers investigation.
