Synopsis

The decision was made, and Thomas would lead the expedition. Arthur had hoped for the role, yet found himself overlooked. Thomas, in turn, harbored no desire for the task. But fate, as it often does, held a surprise in store. A later event would resolve the matter, though the path to that resolution was shrouded in uncertainty.
