Synopsis

The Fat Controller, ever mindful of the railway's needs, instructed James and Percy to increase coal deliveries. Thomas, with a knowing look, cautioned Percy to be careful, hinting at the icy clutches of Jack Frost. James scoffed at the notion, yet Percy took the warning to heart. As night descended and Percy journeyed to Lower Suddery with his load, both he and James began to reconsider the old engine's words – though perhaps not in the way one might anticipate.
