Synopsis

The engine sputtered, a jarring halt in the rush of the race. As Bertie ground to a standstill, Thomas smoothly accepted his passengers. An older gentleman remarked that Bertie invariably let him disembark between stations. Soon, requests for impromptu stops began to flood in. Thomas found himself repeatedly delayed, frustrating both his own passengers and the Fat Controller.
