Synopsis

She was a woman of meticulous habits, and so it was that the quarry was undergoing a transformation. New blooms were being arranged, colors carefully considered. When Mavis failed to acknowledge her, Emily interpreted the silence as sorrow. A quick trip to the flower shop seemed the only remedy. She hurried to the quarry, eager to brighten Mavis's day with a fresh bouquet. Instead, her haste resulted in a collision – a jarring crash that sent Edward and Thomas scrambling.
