Synopsis

Following the massacre at the abduction site, where the rebel bounty hunters extinguished all life, Cassandra Spender vanished. The disappearance cast a shadow on Fox Mulder, as her son, Jeffrey – a rising star within the FBI – directed blame squarely at him. Separately, the Syndicate pressed onward with their experiments to develop a vaccine for the Black Cancer, and Marita Covarrubias found herself compelled into service as an unwilling test subject.
