Synopsis

To evade detection within the Department of Defense and pursue answers to burgeoning questions about the government’s alleged cover-up of extraterrestrial life, Mulder accepts Scully’s help in orchestrating a fabricated death. Simultaneously, at a joint FBI/DOD investigation, Scully's efforts to expose a Conspiracy informant are complicated by a worsening prognosis related to her cancer.
