Synopsis

Imprisoned in Russia and ravaged by the Black Cancer, Mulder discovers Krycek's complicity with those who orchestrated his downfall. He learns the entire ordeal has been a carefully constructed deception. Meanwhile, Scully and Skinner are summoned to a Senate hearing shrouded in unease, where the sole focus is the elusive whereabouts of Agent Mulder.
