Synopsis

When a surgeon loses control during an operation, resulting in a patient’s death, Scully suggests the incident stems from excessive professional pressure. Mulder, however, is certain a darker force is at play. His investigation reveals a connection between the deceased and ancient witches' sabbaths, leading him to suspect a nurse may be practicing witchcraft.
