Synopsis

On the occasion of Scully’s thirty-third birthday, an unusual woman informs Mulder of the recent death of Max Fenig, a NICAP member (detailed in “Fallen Angel”), in a plane crash. Following a visit to the crash site, where he discovers Fenig's body bearing evidence of radiation burns, Mulder posits that the aircraft was intercepted by an unidentified flying object and that the military is swiftly orchestrating a cover-up.
