Synopsis

Deep Throat directs Mulder and Scully to a news report concerning a fugitive presumed drowned. Initially, the case appears unremarkable, yet at his urging, they pursue it. Their investigation unearths evidence of a clandestine government project, codenamed Purity Control, involving human subjects exposed to extraterrestrial DNA. However, this evidence, and those who have witnessed it, are systematically disappearing.
