Synopsis

An unsettling coincidence draws Mulder and Scully into a case of inexplicable violence. Fathers, situated on opposite coasts, have been murdered – victims of identical methods, at precisely the same moment. The investigation deepens when the agents discover a further, more perplexing connection: the fathers' daughters are eight years old and identical twins. It becomes clear that something profoundly unusual is at play.
